The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, OLUKOREDE KESHA, has said the Adeniji/Adekunle parts of the Third Mainland Bridge will be closed for motorists from today for comprehensive repairs.
KESHA said this while addressing reporters on the need to close the 11.8-kilometre bridge for rehabilitation for some weeks.
She advised motorists to use alternative routes to avoid causing gridlocks on the popular bridge.
The controller said the Adekunle exit ramp of the bridge would be closed to traffic from 9 am daily after which work would move to other areas.
She assured Lagosians that the Third Mainland Bridge was open and free for use except for those who would connect Adekunle from the bridge.
