The House of Representatives has removed the 5 billion naira presidential yacht from the 2023 supplementary budget.

The chairperson of the House Committee on Appropriation, ABUBAKAR BICHI announced this after the passage of the 2.17 trillion naira supplementary budget by the House.

Speaking to newsmen, BICHI stated that the committee had eliminated the item and transferred the funds to the student loan division, totalling 10 billion naira.
