The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has berated the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ATIKU ABUBAKAR and described his condemnation defeat as petty and undeserving of a man of his stature.
The party said the former Vice President should have used his press conference to redeem his diminishing political image by offering benefiting congratulations to President BOLA TINUBU whose February 25 victory was affirmed by the Supreme Court.
Dismissing the PDP flag bearer’s media briefing, the APC National Publicity Secretary, FELIX MORKA described ATIKU’s address as a long, windy, incoherent and ridiculous speech unbefitting of a former Vice President.
MORKA, who said that ATIKU was still mourning his electoral loss, warned him against his spoiler role, maintaining that history will not forget his unwillingness to put the country first and above his political ambition.
