The Lagos State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, has pledged the support of the state government for the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials’ drive to improve the welfare of women.

Governor SANWO-OLU reaffirmed this at the 23rd National Women’s Conference of the Committee.

He said under his leadership, the Lagos State Government, will stand firmly committed to the vision set forth by the Committee, because it recognises the pivotal role that empowered women play in the development and progress of every society.

The governor’s wife, who is the Chairman of the Committee, Dr IBIJOKE SANWO-OLU, said the group would continue to assist women and the vulnerable in Lagos state.
