The National President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, AMBALI OLATUNJI, has criticised President BOLA TINUBU for his economic policy, which he said, is hurting the masses.

OLATUNJI, who spoke in Benin City, Edo State, during the opening session of a two-day National Youth Conference organised by the union, also rebuked President TINUBU for running an over-bloated cabinet comprising ministers and an entourage of aides.

While noting that the President needs to understand the plight of the people, he said that 45 ministers and a multitude of aides are a huge burden on a fragile economy.

He also condemned the removal of fuel subsidy without a mitigation plan and stated that the current economic policy of the administration is hurting the poor and vulnerable most.
