The Commissioner for Lagos State Ministry of Housing, MORUF AKINDERU-FATAI, has said the state government is committed to addressing the housing deficit and inadequate decent shelter. 

He said it would be done through diverse strategies, which include the utilisation of innovative building designs such as vertical construction of more homes and collaboration with private investors.

AKINDERU–FATAI said that though the housing sector has attained great strides in housing delivery, more gusto is required to ensure that the successes are taken further.
