The Lagos State Government has said it would intensify the training of its employees by increasing the number of public servants trained in a year as well as improve on its training programmes.

Speaking during a meeting with the management staff of the Ministry of Establishments and Training at Alausa, the newly sworn-in Commissioner for Establishments and Training, AFOLABI AYON-TAYO, stressed that human resource development is crucial to achieving the Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU’s agenda.

The commissioner, who assured the staff of the ministry that he was ready to offer the required leadership for better performance, demanded greater efforts, cooperation, and commitment from all staff.

He added that it is necessary to design and pursue capacity-building programmes to enhance the skills and competencies required to drive the government agenda.
