The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed the relocation of flight operations from the old terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to the new terminal.
The FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, ABDULLAHI YAKUBU-FUNTUA who announced the relocation in a press statement also called on travellers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their departure.
The agency explained that arriving at the airport very early would allow the check-in process to be done in time.
The announcement comes one week after the minister of aviation and aerospace development, FESTUS KEYAMO gave a directive to all airlines to vacate the old terminal from October 1, 2023.
