Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has again decried the increasing rate of homicide across the state.

Speaking immediately after Thursday State Security Council meeting at the Government House in Benin, the governor said it was noticed that the rate of homicide in Edo was still very high with many of the cases linked to the activities of cultists.

He said the Security Council has concluded that a stakeholders’ forum will be conveyed to further address the challenge.
