Edo state Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu has pledged his unflinching support to Governor Godwin Obaseki, insisting that reports of any rifts with the governor will be tackled internally.

Shaibu made the comment at Sunday’s interdenominational church service which took place at the Government House in Benin.

He noted that he has vowed to support Governor Obaseki and would not renege on the vow.

He however maintained that his solidarity to the governor has no bearing on his political ambition.
