The Edo State House of Assembly has confirmed the four commissioner nominees sent to it by Governor Godwin Obaseki for screening.

The Speaker, Right Honourable Blessing Agbebaku said the Commissioner nominees who were present during the plenary have been thoroughly screened by the house standing committee on rules and business.

He however directed the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Audu Omogbai to forward their confirmation to the relevant authority for approval.

One of the commissioners who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, while appreciating the lawmakers, promised to work together with the Edo state government and give their best in their new assignments. 

The Commissioners include, Suraja Jibril, Suberu Abubakar, Osilama Okuofo and Ogbeide Isibor from Eksako West, Eksako Central, Eksako East and Egor local government areas of Edo State.
