The Edo State House of Assembly has passed a resolution on a motion calling on the state government, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and Security Agencies to arrest the menace of kidnapping in the state.

Super FM reporter, Esther Owolabi reports that the resolution followed a motion of urgent public importance moved by the member representing Akoko-Edo Constituency two, Honourable Donald Okogbe at plenary.

He lamented how about 15 persons were kidnapped, two persons killed and five missing in a recent attack in his constituency.

The lawmaker representing Ovia Southwest, honourable Destiny Enabulele and other lawmakers prayed the house to take urgent steps to put an end to the menace.
