The Edo State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has suspended its Chairman, Dr. Udoka Imoisili, Deputy Chairman, Dr. Okwara Benson and Secretary, Dr. Collins Otoikhila.

This was contained in a communiqué issued at its Business Session and Scientific Conference held at the Doctors House in Benin City.

In their reaction titled “Impersonation of the Office of Chairman and Secretary of Edo NMA” signed by the embattled Chairman and Secretary, they accused some members including top officials of the Edo NMA of acting a preconceived script with a view to causing chaos and pandemonium in the Association.
