Lagos State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, has paid unscheduled visits to some health facilities to monitor compliance with the healthcare palliatives rolled out as part of measures to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal.
The governor visited the Island Maternity Hospital on Lagos Island and the General Hospital, Odan.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, GBOYEGA AKOSILE, said that Governor SANWO-OLU was on a mission to monitor compliance with the health palliative scheme he declared across the Lagos State-owned General Hospitals.
The health palliative covers the cost of normal pregnancy delivery, Caesarean Section and antenatal care done in state-owned hospitals.
