The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone Five Headquarters Benin City, AIG Arungwa Nwazue has directed police personnel to intensify patrol in the zone to ensure security of lives and property.

The directive was given during the decoration of newly promoted officers in zone 5 Benin City.

Representing AIG Nwazue, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and administration, Betty Otinmenyin, asked the officers to reciprocate the confidence reposed in them by the Inspector General of Police.

Some of the promoted officer appreciated God and the police hierarchy for the recognition and promised to work harder for the good of the country.

A total of 35 police personnel were promoted during the exercise.
