The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended its planned protest scheduled to hold today.

NARD President, INNOCENT ORJI who made this known on a monitored television programme said the industrial action by the association which continues will be reviewed again within 72 hours.

According to INNOCENT ORJI, the government has not shown commitment to meeting the demands of the Association.

The suspension of the planned protest followed a meeting between the NARD executive and the Senate.
