The Edo State House of Assembly has issued fresh summon to the Controller, Federal Ministry of Works asking him to appear before the hallowed Chambers next Tuesday.

The Speaker, Honourable Blessing Agbebaku issued the summon during Tuesday plenary after the controller of works failed to appear in person with the director of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

During plenary, the lawmakers grilled the FERMA director on the deplorable state of federal roads in the state. 

In his response, the FERMA director, Engineer Muktar Ibrahim noted that the agency only deals with rehabilitation of roads and not construction, stressing that it is the duty of Federal Ministry of works to undertake construction.
