Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has raised concerns over the increasing rate of murders linked to secret cult clashes across the state.
Governor Obaseki raised the concern after a closed-door meeting with heads of security agencies in the state.
He told journalists at the Government House in Benin City that the government would take tougher stance on the matter.
The state government however resolved to partner with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to tackle the intake of hard drugs by youths as parts of effort to reduce crime in the state.
