The Acting Inspector-General of Police, OLUKAYODE EGBETOKUN, has reassured all citizens of Nigeria that the general security of lives and property will be improved in all ramifications.

This was contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP OLUMUYIWA ADEJOBI on Sunday.

The IGP restated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force, under his watch, to attain its importance in the internal security structure of Nigeria.

OLUKAYODE noted that he will be meeting with Commanders of the seventy-nine Police Mobile Force Squadrons, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja to enlighten them on new operational strategies for improved training, deployments and enhanced tactical engagements for better public safety and general security.

He added that the present leadership of the force has outlined several policing approaches that will be of great importance to public safety in Nigeria.
