Vice President Kashim Shettima says Nigeria is fighting a war on diseases and conspiracy theories determined to hijack interventions aimed at ensuring adequate health care delivery at local levels.

He therefore insisted that all hands must be on deck to ensure the war is won.

He made the remarks at a closed door meeting held at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja with members of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, the Dangote Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Earlier in his remarks, Aliko Dangote asked the government to priotize human capital development of all Nigerians.

Also in his remarks, Bill Gates revealed that his foundation had recently announced the intention to commit seven billion dollars to Africa in the next four years.
