Meanwhile, Blessing Agbebaku and Maria Edeko have taken oath of office at the Edo state House of Assembly as the speaker and deputy speaker of the 8th Assembly.

This follows a motion moved by Natasha Osawaru, representing Egor and Destiny Enabulele representing 

Agbebaku is representing Owan west, while Maria Edeko is representing Esan  North East 2 at the Edo state House of Assembly. 

The Speaker was a former Chief of staff to the immediate past speaker, Marcus Onobun
