The Defence Headquarters has revealed that troops of the Nigerian military have neutralized 20 Boko Haram/Islamic State of West Africa Province terrorists and recovered over 11 million naira in the North-East in the past weeks.

It also noted that a total of 743 terrorists and their family members surrendered to the military in the various theatres of operations, within the same period.

The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, confirmed the development to journalists during the bi-weekly media briefing in Abuja.

He said in the North-East zone, the land, air and maritime component of Operation Hadin Kai have sustained the intensive efforts to decimate terrorists and other criminals in the North Eastern zone of the country.
