The UK Government has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima on their inauguration.

According to a statement, King Charles the third sent his warmest congratulations to Tinubu expresing his good wishes as Tinubu assumes the many responsibilities of his office.

The UK Prime Minister’s Special Envoy on Trade to Nigeria and Girls’ Education, Helen Grant, also said the priority is to strengthen bilateral trade and investment partnership, to the mutual benefit of the two great nations.
