The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has tasked state councils to go hard on governors owing workers’ salaries or other emoluments.
The Congress said it was regrettable that many states were yet to start paying the 30,000b naira minimum wage agreed in April 2019.
President of NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, made this known during a familiarisation visit to one of the affiliate unions.
According to him, since assumption of office as NLC President, he has made enemies with some governors over his insistence that the right thing be done.
