In spite of the optimism expressed by the government, oil and gas expert, Ademola Adigun believes Nigeria's problems will not be solved by refineries but good government policies.

While reacting to the significance of the Dangote Refinery, Adigun said the President elect, Bola Tinubu and his team must get down to work to address other lapses in the oil and gas sector.

According to him, fixing the challenges bedeviling the sector requires government's commitment in initiate business friendly policy.

Adigun said the projected economic effect of the Dangote Refinery is expected to be far-reaching and significantly impact the Nigerian economy, as well as the African continent as a whole.
