Environmental organizations have began setting agenda for the new project coordinator of Hydrocarbons Pollution Restoration Project, Professor Nenibarini Zabbey.

An environmental advocacy organization, Health of Mother Earth Foundation (HOMEF), charged Professor Zabbey to approach his mandate differently with a view expediting the cleanup in Ogoniland.

HOMEF in a statement by its spokesperson, Media and Communication Lead, Kome Odhomor, said its director, Dr Nnimmo Bassey also urged the newly appointed project coordinator to make accountability and transparency key focus of his tenure.

Dr Nnimmo Bassey, emphasized that the coordinator must be focused and drive the inclusion of all relevant stakeholders in his operations, emphasizing that failure is not an option.
