Meanwhile, doctors in government hospitals in Edo state have joined their counterparts across the country for the commencement of the five days warning strike declared by the leadership of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).

NARD President, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) chapter, Dr David Orhewere, revealed this in an interview with journalists in Benin. 

Dr Orhewere stated that his members were on ground at the hospital to ensure total compliance by his members.
