The Edo State Government has charged the Batch A, Stream Two NYSC corps members posted to the state to be good ambassadors of the scheme in the different communities they have been deployed to, for their primary assignment.
Representing Governor Godwin Obaseki, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Governor, Kingsley Ehigiamusoe said their contributions to the social economic development of the state would be cherished by the government and Edo people.
He gave the charge at the closing ceremony of the three weeks orientation course for the corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Okada, Ovia North East Local Government.
On her part, the NYSC state coordinator, Foluke Oladehinde said the corps members have been adeqEdo State Government Charged Corps Members to be Good Ambassadorsuately prepared for the task ahead during the three weeks orientation course.
A total of 1,960 corps members were deployed to Edo State for the 2023 Batch A Stream Two NYSC Service Year.
