No fewer than 1,690 corps members posted to Edo State are set to benefit from the federal government's free health insurance through the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Program, GIFSGIP-N.
The Acting Edo State NHIA Coordinator, Ehannire Theodore Osas said the development follows a partnership between the National Health Insurance Authority and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Edo state.
Under the program, insurance cover will be extended to serving and mobilized corps members in the state.
GIFSGIP-N stands for Group, Individual, Family, Social Health Insurance Program -NYSC) a novel program of the federal government.
