The Federal Government has ordered the immediate relocation of all aircraft stationed at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to alternate airports, ahead of the inauguration of the new government scheduled for May 29, 2023.

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said the removal of aircraft parked at the Abuja airport was necessary to enhance the safety of the airport during the forthcoming presidential inauguration.

The relocation directive was addressed to aircraft operators and signed by the Regional Manager, FAAN, Kabir Mohammed.
