The Federal Government has said the agitations of the Senate cannot halt the planned demolition of offices belonging to aviation agencies at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made the government’s stance known after this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

Sirika said the government was going ahead with the demolition as the Senate is only advisory and cannot stop an executive function.
