The first batch of Nigerians returning from Sudan has arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.
The 376 returnees, who took off from Aswan, Egypt, after a tumultuous journey crossing the border, were airlifted by the Nigerian Air Force and Air Peace at about 4pm in the afternoon.
They landed at the Federal Capital Territory at 11:35pm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport.
They received the sum of 100,000 naira each upon their return to the country and an additional 25,000 naira worth of recharge cards and 1.5 Gigabytes of data.
