Two additional Chibok schoolgirls, who have been in captivity since 2014, have been rescued, following massive troops operations in parts of Sambisa forest.
A security officer at the 7 Division, Maimalari Cantonment, who is not authorized to talk to the press, confirmed the development.
This comes as troops of 21 Armored Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, Bama, repelled an attack by ISWAP terrorists in the outskirts of the town in Borno State.
This has reduced the number of the Chibok schoolgirls in captivity from 98 to 96.
