Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has received commendation from the student community for fulfilling his promise of automatic employment into the state civil service to first-class graduates of Edo origin in all Nigerian universities.

Some students who spoke to Esther Owolabi in Benin City noted that the governor’s action would reset the minds of those who do not place any value on education.

It would be recalled that the governor earlier in the week presented letter of automatic employment to a 24-year-old first-class graduate of Edo State University, Uzairue, Oronsaye Osaze.
