The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe, has sent a message of felicitation to the people of the state, especially Journalists, as we celebrate Easter.

In a statement, Comrade Alenkhe prayed that God will use the incoming leadership to better the lots of Nigerians and reduce the sufferings the people are currently passing through.

He reminded journalists to always consider God first while performing their duties and stressed the need for balance reportage and verification of news items before making it public in line with the ethics of the journalism profession
