The 36 states Chairmen of the Labour Party, including the Federal Capital Territory, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on their national chairman, Barrister Julius Abure.

This was made known by Kwara State Chairman and Speaker, All Chairmen Forum of the Labour Party, Kehinde Rotimi, while briefing journalists in Benin City.

Their action follows the court order retraining the national chairman, Julius Abure from parading himself as the national chairman of the party.

Rotimi said they were in Benin City to pay a solidarity and support visit to the national chairman as a result of the new development in the party.
