Entrenching sanity into the Nigeria Police Force and addressing the challenges of skill gap of personnel are the focus of the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Solomon Arase.

Arase confirmed this in an interview with State House correspondents, shortly after being sworn in at the Council Chamber in Abuja.

He said he will lay more emphasis on the welfare of police officers so that they will put in their best.
