The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has warned of a likely rise in temperatures across some cities in Nigerian.
The warning was contained in a statement by the NiMet’s General Manager, Muntari Ibrahim, in Abuja.
The agency said observations from the source region indicated that temperature is expected to rise above 40 degrees in the next 48 hours.
States that may be affected are Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Taraba, Adamawa, Oyo, Kwara, Nasarawa, Benue, Bauchi, Gombe, Borno, and the Federal Capital Territory.
