The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended collation of last Saturday’s governorship elections in Abia and Enugu States indefinitely.

The Commission said in a statement by the National Commissioner, Information and Voter Education, Barrister Festus Okoye that the exercise will resume after a review of the process in the two states.

There have been complaints from one of the political parties participating in the election that the process was being compromised, with threats to embark on a nationwide protest.
