The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that contrary to the reports circulating around, supplementary elections will not be held on Saturday, March 18.

The INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye said the date for the supplementary election arising from the Presidential and National Assembly election will be announced after the Governorship and House of Assembly election.

The commission said the two suspended National Assembly main elections of Enugu East Senatorial district, Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben federal constituency of Edo State will be held on Saturday March 18.
