The Acting State Coordinator, National  Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Ehanire Osas has urged National and State Houses of Assembly to develop constituency projects that will incorporate their constituents in health care scheme.

Ehanire said this during a courtesy visit to the leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo Council at the Press Center in Benin City.

He called on journalists to partner with the NHIA to propagate the benefits the NHIA scheme has to offer.

The Edo NUJ chairman, comrade Festus Alenkhe promised that the union will partner and support the NHIA in giving voice to their programs.

The National Health Insurance Scheme was changed to National Health Insurance Authority by NHIA Act passed into law in 2022.
