The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has said it will deploy 102,000 officers, as part of its commitment towards ensuring a hitch-free election.

The Spokesperson for the Corps, Olusola Odumosu revealed this while speaking to newsmen.

Odumosu said that the safety of voters during and after election is a top priority, adding that the elections would be violent free.

He added that operatives of the corps that participated in the 2022 Osun and Ekiti elections have been paid their outstanding allowances.
