An High Court in Edo State has dismissed a suit by one Oseghale Onodiana challenging the chieftaincy title of Iyasele of Ohordua Kingdom in Esan South East Local Government Area held by Chief Isaac Ikekhuamen.
Oseghale had approached the court claiming to be the biological son of Chief Ogbeide Akueta the last Iyasele of Ozeyen Quarters of Ohordua who died without a son to inherit the title.
In his ruling, Justice P.A. Akhihiero held that from the evidence presented before it, the title of Iyasele of Ohordua conferred on Chief Isaac Ikekhuamen was valid and subsisting.

He also noted that the title is different from the title of Iyasele of Ozeyen which had gone into extinction by the virtue of the death of the last holder.
The judge thereafter awarded the sum of three million naira as damages against the claimant, and warned him from parading himself as the acting Iyasele of Ohordua Kingdom.
