President Muhammadu has charged law enforcement agencies in the country, especially the Nigeria Police Force, to carry out their election security mandate diligently.

The President gave the charge when he commissioned the newly-procured NPF operational assets, vehicles, crowd control, and anti-riot equipment at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

President Buhari warned that that the eyes of the nation and global community are on them and asked them to demonstrate competence during the exercise.

On his part, the Inspector General of Police Alkali Baba said the police will maintain a neutral stance in the coming election.
