The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says a total of 5,063 Permanent Voter's Cards (PVC) were collected on Sunday 5th of February across Edo State.
Figures released by the Edo state INEC Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Timidi Wariowei showed that Akoko Edo had the highest number of collections with a total of 1669, followed by Ikpoba okha with 827. Ovia North East had 473, Oredo 452, Orhionmwon 322, and Ovia South West 207.
Local government areas with low collection include Esan Central with 23, Etsako Central with 25, Owan West 37, and Owan East with 43.
The collection of PVC ended February 5th 2023.
