The Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila says the lawmakers may reconvene if the hardship occasioned by the naira swap continues. 

The lawmakers are on break and are expected to resume after the general elections.

In a statement by the Special Adviser to the Speaker on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi quoted Gbajabiamila to have made this known at a town hall meeting with some ethnic groups in Surulere, Lagos.

Gbajabiamila noted that the House would continue to closely monitor the Central Bank of Nigeria’s implementation of the policy.
