INEC Says A Total Of 1,580 PVC'S Were Collected On Sunday In Edo State.


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says a total of 1,580 Permanent Voter's Cards (PVC) were collected on Sunday 29th of January across Edo State.

 

Figures released by the Edo state INEC Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Timidi Wariowei showed that Ikpoba Okha had the highest number of collections with a total of 411 followed by Oredo with 321.

 

Ovia North East had 274, Akoko Edo 172, Egor 96, Esan west 87, Esan Central 78.

 

Local government areas with low collection include Owan East with 2, Orhionmwon with 2, Etsako East 3, igueben with 7 and Esan South East 9.

 

According to notice, the collection of PVCs will continue on daily basis including Saturdays and Sundays, excluding public holidays from 9am to 3pm in every ward.
