Aggrieved youths of Kaffin-Koro in the Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State have burnt a police station in protest of the heinous killing of Reverend Father Isaac Achi of Saint Peters and Paul Catholic Church by armed bandits.

It was gathered the youths were angered by the slow response of the police to the cries of help from the people when the gunmen attacked the priest’s residence on Sunday.

Super FM learnt that during the protest, cars, houses including the police post were burnt even as several persons sustained injuries.

Bandits set Reverend Achi ablaze on Sunday morning when they tried to gain access to his residence.
