The Progressives Governors’ Forum has called for a legislative framework for the diversification of Nigeria’s economy.
The governors made their position known at a public hearing organized by the Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs in Abuja.
Chairman of the forum and Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Bagudu noted that there was urgent need to provide a comprehensive framework, structure, programme and scheme that would help strengthen the nation’s capacity development.
