The Edo State Police Command says it arrested five suspected kidnappers at Ogoja Camp, also known as Ford Oga Camp in Ekiadolor, Benin City.

According to the Command’s Spokespman, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, at the time of their arrest by operatives of Ekiadolor Divisional Police Headquarters on Friday, December 16th, 2022 one double barrel gun, one single barrel gun, two pump-action guns with cartridges were recovered from the suspect.

He commended the people for reporting the suspects to the police, which led to their arrest.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Mohammed Dankwara reiterated the command’s readiness to respond to distress calls and deal decisively with criminals and criminality.
